2023 Calendar:

Lessons will take place every week, except for the following dates 

No Lessons: 

-January 1-3 -- New Year’s 

-March 27-April 2 -- Spring Break 

-April 7 -- Good Friday 

-April 16 – Easter Sunday 

-October 9 -- Thanksgiving 

-December 23-31 -- Christmas Break

Missed Lessons/Cancellations:

Students are expected to attend all scheduled lessons. Tuition and  enrollment fees are non-refundable and makeup lessons are not scheduled. Please plan lesson times  and social engagements accordingly. The teacher does not guarantee makeup lessons for missed  lessons. 

All students who miss a lesson because of an emergency will be invited to send a video of their pieces and the teacher will send feedback before the end of the week. Lesson time will not be made up for  students who arrive late.

Teacher Absence:

If the teacher becomes ill, they will inform the parent and try to reschedule the  lesson. If the lesson cannot be rescheduled the lesson amount will be deducted from the following  month’s invoice.

Payment:

Tuition is due on the first lesson of each month. Continual late payments that occur more than twice in a year’s term will be subject to a late  fee penalty of $20.  

Lesson Termination: A minimum of 30 days’ notice is required when terminating lessons.

Lesson Credits for Referrals:

Students who refer others to Fort Garry Violin Studio will receive a $50  lesson credit for every referral that registers for lessons.
