About Us
At Fort Garry Violin Studio, we provide a fun, engaging environment for children to learn violin and piano. We make lessons enjoyable by incorporating games and interactive online activities, while teaching fundamental skills, including technique, note reading, ear training, and music theory.

Why virtual lessons?
Online music lessons began as a necessity due to the COVID pandemic in 2020, but have since become the first choice for many families. Parents prefer the convenience of in-home lessons, and students love learning through videos and interactive games!
Students are able to message their teacher at any time with questions, or to send videos of their practicing. Our students also have the opportunity to show their progress at online recitals throughout the year!
We provide the highest quality of music education by treating every student as an individual, and working with them to achieve their own personal goals. At FGVS, you’ll learn from a teacher with a Master’s Degree in Music Performance, and years of teaching experience!
